Local photographer Purdey Lee came to us looking for a website. After just opening her business, she needed a way to stand out in the world wide web – a way to attract clients to her beautiful photography. So after much discussion we came up with this simple, yet elegant web design.
Because of her already extensive Flickr library we decided against getting her to upload her photos into different places online. That would be an inconvience, so we implemented a tool to just fetch her photos, and display them on her site. It allows her photos to be on one of the largest photography communities, and also on her own piece of land – and only manage it from one place.
The site was also developed to be a look into who she is. Many photography sites give a short introduction about who they are, and then show photos. There isn’t any personality behind the photos. Purdey decided to use her site as a blog so she can develop an online personality, and allow people to get an insight into who she is, and see how that makes her photos what they are.
This elegant site is a great addition to our portfolio.
